Dr. Salhi was awarded the Early Career Research Development Grant for $150,000 over two years. She will work on her project titled, "Accuracy and reliability of race and ethnicity in the Emergency Department: Brief encounters with broad impact" at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Dr. Fishe was awarded the EMF Health Equity Research Grant for $125,000 over one year. She will work on her project titled, "Examining the Personal External Exposome among Children with Asthma” at the University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville.

Dr. Li was awarded the Value of Emergency Medicine Grant for $100,000 over one year. She will work on her project titled, "Assessing Efficacy and Value of Tele-emergency Care within the Veterans Health Administration" at the University of Washington.

Dr. Palatinus was awarded the Pilot Research Grant Award for $50,000 over one year. She will work on her project titled, "Intramuscular Epinephrine Pharmacokinetics and Dose Optimization in a Swine Model of Out-of- Hospital Cardiac Arrest" at the University of Utah.

Dr. Barton was awarded the Pilot Research Grant for $50,000 over one year. He will work on his project titled, "Blood-brain barrier dysfunction in mild traumatic brain injury" and the University of Pittsburgh.

Dr. Coupet was awarded the Health Diversity, Inclusion and Equity Grant for $50,000 over one year. He will work on his project titled, " Racial/Ethnic Disparities in Addiction Treatment Access for Opioid Use Disorder from the Emergency Department " at Yale School of Medicine.

Dr. Stanford was awarded the Health Diversity, Inclusion and Equity Grant for $50,000 over one year. She will work on her project titled, "Implementation of patient-initiated gonorrhea, chlamydia, and trichomonas self-testing in the emergency department to reduce inequities in sexual health care access " at the University of Chicago.

Dr. Solnick was awarded the Health Diversity, Inclusion and Equity Grant for $50,000 over one year. She will work on her project titled, " Neighborhood Social Vulnerability and Access to Expedited Partner Therapy Prescriptions: a Secret Shopper Audit Survey" at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

Dr. Muir (Pictured) and Dr. Agarwal were awarded the EMF/ENAF Evidence-Based Safety Measures for Ed-Based Professionals Grant for $50,000 over one year. They will work on their project titled, "Developing a Clinician-Centered Strategy to Improve and Sustain Workplace Safety in Emergency Care: A Mixed-Methods Study of Emergency Nurses and Physicians " at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Goldberg was awarded the EMF/ESO Advancing Prehospital Research Grant for $10,000 over one year. He will work on his project titled, " Evaluating variations in guideline adherence and care delivery in the prehospital care of traumatic brain injury using a national data set” at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Dr. Clark was awarded the EMF/EMRA Resident Research Grant for $10,000 over one year. He will work on his project titled, " Effect of Operator Experience on Outcomes of Emergency Airway Management: The ICU Intubation Learning Curve” at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Dr. Walsh was awarded the EMF/EMRA Resident Research Grant for $9,810 over one year. She will work on her project titled, "Improving procedural safety, efficacy, and patient outcomes for ultrasound guided nerve blocks in the emergency department via objective competency measures” at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Dr. Wosiski-Kuhn was awarded the EMF/EMRA Resident Research Grant for $6,050 over one year. She will work on her project titled, " Central Nervous System Interleukin-6 (IL6) and Soluble IL6 Receptor in a Porcine Model of Traumatic Brain Injury” at the University of Cincinnati.

Jonathan Duldner, BS was awarded the EMF/SAEMF Medical Student Research Grant for $5,000 over one year. He will work on his project titled, "Novel Approaches to Prevent Brain Injury after Sudden Cardiac Arrest " at the University of Toledo.

Emily Larson, BS was awarded the EMF/SAEMF Medical Student Research Grant for $5,000 over one year. She will work on her project titled, "Prehospital Presentation and Outcomes for Acute Aortic Dissection" at Johns Hopkins University.

Gabrielle Ramirez was awarded the EMF/SAEMF Medical Student Research Grant for $5,000 over one year. She will work on her project titled, "The impact of a mobile integrated health program on patient experience for those living with heart failure: a qualitative study of patients and care givers participating in the MIGHTy Heart trial" at Weill Cornell Medical College.

Alice Y. Lu, MSL was awarded the EMF/SAEMF Medical Student Research Grant for $5,000 over one year. She will work on her project titled, "Efficacy of Connecting ED Patients to Intimate Partner Violence Resources Using Tailored Referrals” at the University of California, San Francisco.
